Season of Giving | Good Products for Donations

Tis the season to be jolly and give back to the community. As you spend time with your family and friends during the holidays, take a moment to think about those who are less fortunate. It’s easy to get caught up in the midst of all the commercialization and we often forget what is truly important; celebrating the connectedness of all of humanity. This year we are encouraging you to think less about receiving, and more about giving. Sure getting presents is amazing, but watching someone open the present you just gave them is infinitely better.

Some people within your community may not be able to get any gifts this holiday season, and we are asking that you think about them this year. There are many ways that you can give back to the community. Below are some ideas on how you can get involved. A nice gesture would be to provide some home cooked meals to a shelter or home near you. Giving someone a home cooked meal can be just as meaningful, if not more so, than receiving a gift. This is a charitable act that the entire family can get behind, which will in turn give you more time to bond with them.
