Employees That C.A.R.E.

Over the years, as part of internal COMDA culture, we have looked for special ways to celebrate our customers. In 2004, as part of these efforts, we introduced C.A.R.E.  The C.A.R.E. program was developed in the spirit of taking care of our customers. C.A.R.E. stood for “Customers Are Really Everything” and the program nurtured teamwork as part of our customer initiatives. Our staff was separated into teams to compete in special events and training activities throughout the year. We introduced indoor games and featured contests which demanded the same qualities that COMDA requires daily: team spirit, focus, planning, care, and attention to detail. Game days helped us get to know each other better as each team was made up of people from different departments who came together with the common goal of delivering 100% customer satisfaction.

This remains our goal today! Our team building exercises continue to help motivate and train our employees to deliver their very best, each and every day, no matter what!  As each new calendar year comes to us we start planning activities all over again to achieve fantastic results for our customers.

Employee Appreciation

In 2008, the C.A.R.E. program theme changed slightly to also celebrate our dedicated employees. In addition to our regular activities, we started holding an annual day designated with special things for our employees. A typical employee appreciation day consisted of a morning breakfast, lunch (prepared by Senior Management), and outdoor games. At our first Employee Appreciation Day, we introduced new benefit programs and several prizes donated by our vendor partners. These prizes continue to be a strong motivator today.

Over the years, we’ve added to those prizes and we’ve hosted a lot of fun games such as bingo, and special themed appreciation days like the 2016 COMDA Olympics!
As we celebrate our 45th year in business, we will pay tribute throughout the year to some members of our staff currently working with us, and flashback to previous years where we celebrate special anniversaries with employees who have since departed.

As a long time employee celebrating my 29th year at COMDA I consider myself very fortunate to work for a great company with great employees. I am very proud of the team we have here. They strive to be the very best and take pleasure in serving our customers well.
